My first memory of you is when we all went camping/river rafting at Jackson Hole and I shared a tent with you. I don't even think I really talked to you that much...weird to think now we are sisters-in-law! I even have a bunch of pictures of you from that trip!
One of my favorite memories with you is being with you when you found out you were having a girl! I felt so lucky to be there and know I was going to have a NIECE and see her on camera for the first time =-)
I remember Young Women's camp when we were about 13...hot and sweaty in our nasty cabins. I think we told ghost stories together one night :)
I would love to play, I want to be able to say something cool, strange, funny, or embarrassing about you. But I got nothing. I do remember you in the halls at church, and out with your family. Sorry that my memory
of "memory lane" is not so memorable.
Ok...well I have a ton! The one I've been thinking about lately (esp. since Kinston Stake is taking the same trip this weekend) is when we went to Palmyra together when we were 12/13. That was seriously a trip I'll never forget. I remember visiting the Sacred Grove and being able to go around by ourselves. We went hand and hand and found the "exact" spot. Don't you remember? I loved it!!!! That's just one of many...~
I've got a couple great ones, camping, Vegas...but the one I have to share is when Jonny and I lived back in the Jones apartments and you and I had gone shopping I think for Christmas decorations or something. We told the boys to come out and help us and we had to "come inside first" and there we found our boys sitting, playing HALO online without pants on becuase they "did better that way"! Heaven help us!
Mostly I remember that Emma just adored you. And when you left to go to college, she was so upset and said, "But I'll never see her again!" We may have talked about this before, I can't remember.
So, what should I say....a memory we had. There are so many. How about watching Kacie fall in the parking lot at KHS that day in front of all the senior boys. that was HILARIOUS!!! Or all those mornings i sat in your jeep and you helped me with my Spanish homework HAHA. Then there are the school plays, proms and so much more. I could do this for days. love and miss ya.
I too have so many...my earliest ones of you were when you were first born in your crib...just thinking you are one of the most beautiful babies I had ever seen...then fast fwd to one of Jaz's b-day parties and you came and slept over but you were very clingy to Ashley the whole night, then to YW when I was your president and all you and Ashley and Jaz wanted to do every joint activity was to have a dance, then there are the YW camps. super sat. jr. miss, plays at KHS, singing in women at the well, your wedding, setting up for it and enjoying it and so many more!! Love you Meredith and hope that you have a great weekend! Send Tyler my love! I am sad I am missing his wedding!
