A Day at the Beach Cut Short

On Friday a few of us decided to take off to the beach for a few hours. The great thing about living here is the beach is only about an hour away, so you can pick up and go whenever you would like.

So Adam, Cameron, Katie, Mom, and I all went. We had a great time. Adam and Cameron were playing in the water most of the time, while Katie, Mom and I laid on the beach talking about everything. It was a great time to relax and enjoy the company. I even got a little sun. I do mean a LITTLE by the way. I put sunscreen EVERYWHERE because I am ghostly white. Well, I thought I put sunscreen EVERYWHERE, but I kinda forgot the top of my feet. They got fried, but everywhere else was fine. Oh well, you live and learn.

Here are a few pictures of us hanging out.

Adam and Cameron are out there in the water.

After only a few hours (we were planning on staying an hour or 2 longer) the sky became dark and a storm moved in very quickly. We packed up and took off for the car. I guess we should be grateful for the rain here in NC since we are struggling for water right now.

We had a great time!

Oh what a fun day at the beach it was! It's so wonderful having you, Adam, Katie, and Chad at home. The summer is flying, but we will have lots to talk about and many memories, right?

I'm glad you don't feel extremely big yet, but I promise you things will change soon.

Love you,
MOM

I miss the beach so much!! But I guess I can't really complain since I have amazing camp grounds, lakes, caves, and tons of other stuff to do around here..... but I still miss the beach.

What fun and you all look so cute!
I know how much your mom is enjoying having all her "chicks" home this summer.
What great memories you will have.

Wow. These pictures are a wake up call. Time for me to get a highlight job and a lot more beach time to fix that Utah-white skin!
